National Corporations Partner with Tim Tebow Foundation to Support annual Night to Shine Prom for People with Special Needs

National corporations have begun to take notice of a movement quickly spreading throughout the world that is celebrating one of society’s most overlooked people groups. With 850% growth in just the first three years, Night to Shine, the unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation (TTF), has honored tens of thousands of people with special needs. Now several household name brands have stepped up to join the celebration.

The Tim Tebow Foundation will incur expenses of more than $3 million for this year’s worldwide event, and it would not be possible without the support of corporate partners.

American Residential Services (ARS/Rescue Rooter), a top supporter of TTF since the inception of the foundation, recently announced their commitment to sponsor Night to Shine for the next three years as the event’s first global corporate partner. ARS’s support will ensure the continued growth of Night to Shine and help with the foundation’s goal of making sure that every person with special needs knows that they are celebrated, valued and loved. In addition to their financial support, hundreds of ARS employees all throughout the nation will be serving as volunteers at various Night to Shine host churches.

Members of the Chick-fil-A franchise also share the foundation’s heart for people with special needs and are playing a more significant role in Night to Shine 2017. Approximately 100 local Chick-fil-A restaurant franchise owners across the United States have partnered with their local churches to provide everything from spirit nights to catering to volunteer activation at their local Night to Shine.

From discounted background checks for volunteers, to tuxes for the kings of the prom, Night to Shine partners are committed to the growth of the worldwide movement. Additional 2017 key partners include Shindigz, SecureSearch, Publix Supermarket Charities, and PromGuy.

“We are so blessed to have the support of ARS and all of our partners,” said Tim Tebow, founder and chairman of the Tim Tebow Foundation. “I am humbled by their heart and passion to join us in celebrating thousands of people with special needs.”

Every host church of Night to Shine is given a prom kit, inclusive of banners, signage, decorations and gifts for the honored guests. In 2017, Shindigz came on board to streamline the process for providing host kits for churches by sourcing, storing, providing printing discounts, and shipping all 375 prom kits.

With approximately 150,000 volunteers across 375 different locations, SecureSearch has played a pivotal role in helping provide background checks for host churches at a discounted rate that allows the hosts to save on administration and pour more into serving their honored guests.

Believing in the vision of Night to Shine and its impact on communities, Publix Supermarket Charities provided a financial grant to help celebrate even more people with special needs.

Every guest of Night to Shine should have the opportunity to look their best and feel like the kings and queens that they are. In 2017, PromGuy is providing discounted tuxedo rates for every honored guest, while also donating a portion of proceeds and a free tuxedo rental to each of the 375 host locations.

Night to Shine’s exponential growth would not have been possible without the key contributions from select supporters. Through the support of these brands and many other individuals, the Tim Tebow Foundation has the opportunity to continue expanding the footprint of Night to Shine. It is their hope that more companies will take notice of the special work being done and decide to stand in the gap with TTF until every person with special needs knows that they are celebrated, valued and loved.
